The GMD Totally Enclosed Treatment System (TETS™) is a method to inject dry "pre-coat" powder into dust collectors before dirty exhaust air is introduced to the system. In some cases the pre-coat / pre-conditioning is continuous for the purpose of protecting the filter elements and to assist in building a superior filter cake for improved filtering efficiency and to enhance cake release during the cleaning cycle. The point of injection is normally located in the main duct of the environmental control system some distance up stream from the fabric filter.
