GMD's Totally Enclosed Treatment System (TETS™)
uses dry reactants(s) to react with heavy metals to render heavy metal laden
baghouse dust to a Non-Hazardous condition before
the dust exits the baghouse hopper. GMD's TETS™ is designed
for guaranteed treatment for each separate application. The proprietary
GMD Powder Inductor Nozzle (PIN™) thoroughly mixes the
reactant powder(s) with the dust in the exhaust duct, assuring efficient,
thorough, consistent and intimate mixing of the additive with the hazardous
constituent in the exhaust stream.

This dry reactant serves a dual purpose. In addition to conditioning
the baghouse dust to a non-hazardous condition, the dry powder provides
a protective coating on the filter bag which assists in the removal of submicron
fume from the gas stream. The dust cake generated enhances filtering efficiency
and is a better releasing dust cake during the cleaning cycle.
